Basic Job Functions : Responsibilities of the Logistics Administrator may include but are not limited to :

• Provide quality, professional service to customers, carriers and teammates
• Communicate with teammates and carriers to direct truck dispatching using CarrierPoint / Princeton
• Involvement with billing and processing shipments of rail and transload activities
• Assists in developing, strategizing, and negotiating freight rates
• Ensure visitors and contractors sign-in using the computer system, directing visitors / deliveries to destination
• Provide daily reports for Shipping Department and Sales Team
• Filling in at the trucks scales as needed (which may include shift / overnight)
• Process load requests, create and share reports, and other duties as needed
