Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer (Plastics) will :
- Lead initiatives to streamline production workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the introduction of new products and technologies.
- Monitor and enhance equipment performance through proactive maintenance planning.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
- Develop and document standardized work procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Train production staff on new equipment, processes, and quality standards.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Support regulatory and quality audits by providing technical documentation and process insights.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools or technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Manufacturing Engineer (Plastics) applicant will have :
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing manufacturing processes within regulated industries.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Proficient in statistical analysis tools and capable of designing experiments
- 3 years Manufacturing Engineer experience
- Strong technical writing skills for documentation, validations, and reporting.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and quality teams.
- Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and solve complex production challenges.
- Familiarity with plastics or medical device manufacturing
