    Job Description

    Job Summary : As a Manufacturing Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and supporting engineering projects that improve manufacturing processes, enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure operational efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, and external vendors to deliver successful outcomes on a variety of plant-level initiatives.Key Responsibilities :

    • Plan, execute, and manage capital and process improvement projects from concept through implementation.
    • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to define project scopes, goals, timelines, and budgets.
    • Specify, procure, and oversee the installation of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and automation systems.
    • Support the launch of new production lines, layouts, or process changes.
    • Evaluate current processes for opportunities in efficiency, safety, and cost reduction.
    • Ensure all project activities comply with internal safety and quality standards as well as regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, status reports, and engineering records.
    • Work with external contractors and suppliers to coordinate design, installation, and commissioning efforts.
    • Provide technical support for troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
    • Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or plant engineering role.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.
    • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Experience with capital equipment selection and installation.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
    • Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
    • Preferred Qualifications :

    • Experience in regulated manufacturing (e.g., food, medical device, automotive, aerospace)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Six Sigma Green Belt
    • Working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems and Microsoft Project

      A successful Manufacturing Project Engineer should have :

    • A degree in engineering or a related field.
