Bus Driver
The eligibility list generated from this recruitment will be used to fill substitute vacancies within the district. This position is open to the public and to all Lynwood Unified School District employees. Applications are accepted online from September 19, 2025, continuously. The job of Bus Driver is done for the purpose of providing support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes and / or to / from field trips; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses. This job reports to designated administrator.

Education and experience : Graduation from high school or general education development (GED) equivalent. Six (6) months of experience in a job-related field. Any other combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the applicant is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge, or abilities may be considered.
Licenses and other requirements : Valid California Class B commercial driver's license with passenger and air brake endorsements. Valid California School Bus Driver Certificate. Valid School Bus Driver Medical Certificate. Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification issued by an authorized agency. Valid First Aid certification issued by an authorized agency.
