Growing together.\n\nThe Cardiology RN collaborates with the Echocardiology and Nuclear Departments to ensure that patients move through testing areas in a safe and efficient manner. In this role, you will support the RN Supervisor / Manager in overseeing and evaluating the licensed clinical staff to maintain compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities : \n

• Administer IV medications for testing\n
• Provide direct patient care during cardiac stress tests and echocardiograms, ensuring a safe environment\n
• Ensure continuity of care for patients with positive test results\n
• Communicate effectively with the Cardiologist and RN Supervisor / Manager regarding any issues or adverse reactions during testing\n
• Monitor patients' 12 lead EKG rhythms and vital signs during testing and in the immediate recovery period\n
• Deliver care before and after cardiovascular procedures\n
• Adhere to standards of care while complying with state and federal regulations and policies\n\nWe value your contributions and will recognize your performance with opportunities for growth and professional development in a supportive work environment.\n\nRequired Qualifications : \n
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Nevada\n
• CPR / BLS certification\n
• 3+ years of relevant nursing experience (ideally in critical care, ICU, ER, or Cardiology)\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n
• ACLS certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months\n
• 1+ years of experience in acute cardiology\n
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)\n
• Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory and practices\n
• Excellent customer service and communication skills\n
• Able to perform clinical skills and critical thinking during complex diagnostic procedures\n
