MRI tech (per diem) Night

Job Title : MRI Technologist Per Diem (Day & Night Shifts)

Location : Shasta Regional Medical Center California

Position Summary :

Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking skilled and dependable MRI Technologists to join our per diem pool for both day and night shifts. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality diagnostic MRI studies in accordance with physician orders and departmental standards, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort throughout all imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform MRI procedures per established protocols and physician orders.

Prepare, screen, and position patients safely and effectively.

Operate MRI scanners and related systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Administer contrast media under supervision, following safety protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within PACS and EMR systems.

Adhere to all hospital safety, infection control, and radiation safety policies.

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to ensure optimal workflow and patient outcomes.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program (required).

ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) certification preferred , not required.

BLS (AHA) certification (required).

Venipuncture certification (preferred, required if administering contrast).

Minimum 1 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.

EPIC and PACS experience preferred.

Shift Details :

Schedule : Per Diem (as needed)

Day Shift : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 30 PM

Night Shift : 7 : 00 PM 7 : 30 AM

Setting : Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department
