Landscape Herbicide Application Technician

We’re currently seeking an experienced Spray Technician with herbicide application or pesticide industry experience to work with our customers.  Job reports to 1498 W Melody Drive and is Valley wide work.

Work Involves :

• Managing mixing and application of herbicides & pesticides that are used for treating weeds and pests in landscapes.
• Reading and understanding all labels of chemicals used.
• Responsibility for all spray equipment including mixing, storage, transportation, and maintenance.
• Maintaining chemical usage records per applicable laws & regulations.
• Working in extreme Arizona temperatures 100+ degrees in summer.
• Working in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
• Lifting and carrying 40 to 50 lbs.
• Protecting yourself against heat illness, by taking lunch & adequate water breaks.
• Bending, stooping, standing and twisting continuously throughout the day.
• Operating efficiently and safely at all times.
