About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse First Assistant

Experience : Minimum of 18 months recent CVOR experience

License : Must have an active RN license in Ohio or a Compact RN license

Certifications : RNFA certification required; AHA BLS required

Must-Have :

• Experience with vein harvesting
• Two recent references from a supervisory level in the specialty applying for are required

Description :

Weekday and weekend on-call and holiday on-call will be discussed during the interview.

Float to the Main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled.

Minimum of 18 months permanent CVOR RNFA experience prior to travel is required.

RNFA / CSFA will be required to complete additional credentialing through the facility directly prior to start to obtain privileges to work.

All required certifications need to be active with nothing pending.

An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both assessments is required.

The traveler will receive two attempts maximum to pass; otherwise, the contract will be canceled.

Background hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility but will not accept any traveler with an open case.

The facility does not accept any license-related hits.

Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, and this exemption is temporary.

All other travelers must be nicotine-free and a negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen is required within 12 months of start.

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to the facility for one year from their previous end date.

BCI / FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Candidates will need to complete onsite fingerprints prior to their start date.

Modules vary by specialty and must be completed prior to start and annually.
