This position provides a range of custodial services for Campus Recreation in the Student Recreation Center
Up to $2, signing bonus available for qualified candidates. Required Job Qualifications
Six months of custodial experience appropriate to the job assignment.
The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; the department will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

- Preferred experience in both residential and commercial environments
- Experience with entering personal spaces with an awareness and good work practices for privacy and discretion of patrons and guests
- Experience working on a team to complete tasks.

Essential Duties Job Duty Category Cleaning, Disinfecting, Maintenance, and Safety Duty / Responsibility This position provides a wide range of custodial services including but not limited to :
- Cleaning and sanitizing locker rooms and restrooms
- Removal of trash and recycle materials from building
- Window glass cleaning using cleaners and squeegees
- Carpeted and hard floor maintenance including :
- vacuuming carpets
- spot cleaning carpets and tile floors
- extracting of carpeted floors
- mopping all floor surfaces
- Deep scrubbing floors with chemical and buffers
- Auto scrubbing floors with riding auto-scrubber or walk behind auto-scrubber (this includes indoor track area)
- stripping tile floor with a stripper and buffers
- refinishing of hard wood surface floors using buffers, auto-scrubbers, square scrubs and vacuums (this includes the main gym and studio floors)
- Clean and sanitize using disinfectant
- Walls
- counters
- furniture
- Other surfaces as needed
- Operate, maintain and do minor repairs of a variety of custodial equipment
- Performs minor maintenance including but not limited to tightening toilet seats, replacing batteries in dispensers, drain clearing and submit work order or needed repairs
- Support for events and activities.
- Wear personal protection while cleaning
- Use genie lift to perform high dusting for ledges, art work, light fixtures, windows, and fans
