The Gund Company has an immediate opening at our Amsterdam, NY manufacturing plantfor a full-time IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our team!
Work location : On-site
Plant / Work Location : 200 Wallins Corners Road, Amsterdam, NY 12010
Starting Hourly Wage : $30+
Shift : 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm / On-site (not remote)

Job Summary IT Helpdesk Specialist
Provide computer support for hardware and software by telephone and e-mail to resolve computer system and user issues for all facilities and Corporate Headquarters. Assists users in resolving difficult problems through discussion and diagnosis. Takes the necessary steps to remedy the problem and are nearly always able to diagnose problems.
Essential job functions :
- Provide computer support for hardware and software by telephone and e-mail.
- Resolve 1st Level Support Calls.
- Analyze computer software and system configurations to identify user-reported issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate team member following TGC escalation procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Environment
The work environment is typical of most office environments; occasionally, the position will be required to be on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Employees must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
