Treats patients in critical / coronary care unit to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists as necessary.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrates knowledge and competencies in the following areas :
Respiratory dysfunctionCardiovascular dysfunctionNeurological dysfunctionNeuromuscular dysfunctionRenal dysfunctionalGastrointestinal dysfunctionHepatic DysfunctionHematological disordersOncology disordersEvaluate nutritional support for critical ill patients also with endocrine disordersPatient with trauma or septic illnessInterpretation of diagnostic test resultsCollecting information related to patient and integration in clinical plansCommunication with patient’s relatives, referring hospital etc.Acute & chronic pain managementPre & post-operative check upWhat We're Looking For
Requires a MD degree from an accredited school.Board Eligible / Board Certified in Critical Care MedicineState license or (obtain NJ license) and certificationStrong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrior experience using eClinicalWorks and / or Meditech preferredStrong teamworking, leadership, and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAll experience levels encouraged to applyWhat We Offer
