About Your Team

Oklahoma Heart Institute offers 24 / 7 catheterization labs, cardiac rehabilitation, and a heart failure center. The system is involved in over 200 research studies across various specialties.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing and clerical duties to support patient care management.

Maintain efficient patient flow, assist physicians during exams, and ensure timely follow-up with quality care.

Administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.

Screens patient calls for providers.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Medical Assisting program with RMA, CMA, or ABR credentials, or have over 3 years of Medical Assistant experience.

For OHI clinics, EMT / Paramedics are also qualified.

Knowledge of medical terminology, routine office procedures, and medical instruments.

Skilled in taking vital signs.
