Job description

Who We Are Looking For :

Are you the Relief Direct Care Worker we have been looking for? JRI's Developing Abilities program provides opportunities for people to live in homes and apartments in their communities and to grow through job training, supported employment and day habilitation services. We provide therapeutic and social supports to enrich the lives of people with disabilities.

We Are Looking For Full and Part Time Relief Direct Care Staff Members To Work In Our Residential and Day Programs In Framingham!

Salary : $21.00 per hour

Schedule : We offer a variety of weekday and weekend shifts.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

JRI Provides The Training So That :

  • YOU will provide high quality supports to adults with developmental disabilities.
  • YOU will be responsible for daily activities of clients.
  • YOU will implement treatment objectives.
  • YOU will organize and accompany individuals on community outings.
  • YOU will maintain case records and perform data collection.
  • YOU will provide personal care to clients.
  • YOU will administer medications as required.

  • Requirements :

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is required.
  • Availability to cover open shifts as necessary.
  • Capability to obtain MAP certification.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently without direct supervision or colleagues present.
  • Valid driver's license, with the ability to transport individuals in agency vehicles as well as your own vehicle when needed.
  • Background checks and driving record evaluations will be conducted.
