Additional Details

  • Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W-2 base pay range of $68 / hour to $76 / hour (new grads $60 / hour to $65 / hour)

About Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center

  • Average Daily Encounters : 194
  • 26 Physician / APP provider hospitalist team
  • Dedicated Nocturnist
  • 24-hr Intensivists onsite presence
  • The team is supported by IAC RN to facilitate operations
  • Block scheduling
  • Team approach model with Hospitalist, Critical Care and Emergency Department under one IAC Director275-bed acute care hospital is part of the Adventist HealthCare System
  • Medical staff of over 1,000 physicians
  • Construction is underway for a new state-of-the-art Emergency Department, ICU, and Cath Lab Suite (estimated to open in 2026)
  • The hospital offers a Behavioral Health Unit with dedicated pediatric beds
  • The hospital has a robust NICU and inpatient pediatrics unit
  • Other USACS services offered at this location : Emergency Medicine, Observation Medicine, Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Palliative Care
