We are hiring a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and control at our Chicago food manufacturing facility. This role ensures our products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and consistency, while fostering a plant-wide culture of continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do :
- Lead and maintain the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with SQF, HACCP, GFSI, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee quality across raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Manage audits, traceability, corrective actions, and documentation to ensure compliance and inspection readiness.
- Partner with Operations to drive lean principles and quality improvements.
- Train and mentor staff on GMP, sanitation, food safety, and compliance.
- Serve as the main contact for regulatory agencies, customers, and auditors.
What We’re Looking For :
Bachelor’s in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field.3–7 years of food manufacturing quality assurance leadership experience.Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GFSI, and USDA / FDA requirements.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Bilingual – English and Spanish required (written and verbal).If you’re a hands-on quality leader ready to make an impact, we’d love to connect.
