What We‘re Looking For

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Business Development - Emerging Biotech and Health Tech to lead our growth initiatives within the life sciences and the health tech sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in selling software solutions to life sciences organizations and health tech companies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of claims and electronic health record (EHR) data, enabling them to drive our business development efforts and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth in the emerging biotech and health tech market.
  • Identify and engage with prospective clients, leveraging a consultative sales approach to understand their needs and present tailored software solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in emerging biotech organizations and health tech companies.
  • Own the entire sales process from end to end from lead generation to execution and ongoing support of the account.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective delivery of our value proposition.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals that align with the company’s objectives and revenue targets.
  • Represent OMNY Health at industry conferences and events to promote our brand and solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications :

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically selling software solutions into the life sciences and health tech sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of claims and EHR data, with the ability to communicate its value to clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building lasting relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
