Position : Home Health Biller – MEDCAID BILLING REQUIRED!!!

We are actively seeking an experienced Home Health Biller who is highly proficient in Medicaid billing, particularly for the District of Columbia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of home health billing, and is ready to contribute to a high-performing team. Only candidates with Medicaid billing experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

Accurately prepare and submit clean claims to Medicaid, Medicare, and other payers

Follow up on unpaid claims, handle denials, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Post all remittances for Medicare / Medicaid payments

Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and coding standards

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure complete and accurate billing information

Generate and analyze billing reports; present findings and suggest process improvements

Assist with rate negotiations and maintain balanced billing documentation

Qualifications :

Proven experience billing State Medicaid (required)

Familiarity with Medicare billing and EMR systems

In-depth knowledge of home health billing codes and healthcare reimbursement practices

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
