You will lead the charge in ensuring contractual compliance, optimizing vendor relationships, and maximizing profitability within our client’s supply chain.

This is a great opportunity to blend financial acumen with supply chain mastery, driving impactful decisions that shape organizational success.

Location : This is an onsite role that can sit in either Dublin, CA or Modesto, CA

This is a full-time role that is expected to pay a base salary of about $140-160k annually plus benefits (and relocation expenses)

What You Will Do :

  • Strategic Planning : Develop long-term tactical and operational plans to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.
  • Monitoring and Auditing : Establish monitoring and auditing processes to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including rebate calculations, fee reviews, and reconciliation.
  • Policy Development : Create and implement policies for widespread contract compliance.
  • Communication : Liaise between departments to communicate contract requirements and assist with reconciliations.
  • Risk Assessment : Identify and mitigate potential risks related to contract compliance.
  • Reporting : Prepare regular reports on contract compliance for senior management.
  • Training / Education : Provide staff training on contract compliance policies and stay updated on relevant regulations.
  • Conflict Resolution : Resolve disputes related to contract compliance with legal and other departments.
  • Contract Negotiation Support : Assist legal teams during negotiations to align terms with compliance standards.

What Gets You The Job :

  • Minimum 10 years related experience in supply chain management or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, ideally in a role aligned with a DC / Supply Chain Controller.
  • Strong accounting background with a keen business sense, enabling you to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive profitability.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and challenge vendors when necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Expertise in inventory control and management, with a track record of optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.
  • Thorough understanding of contract compliance and auditing processes, with the ability to apply accounting analytics to ensure adherence.
  • Proficiency in building and analyzing business analytics, including exception reports, to drive informed decision-making and process optimization.
