As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal supporting a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for those on-site. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Monday 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wednesday 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thursday 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Friday 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual situations

Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols

Maintain clear and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client policies

Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns at the location

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
