RN Clinical Manager with Quality Assurance Experience - Washington, DC
RN - Quality Assurance and Improvement Nurse- Washington, DC
Hours : 9 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm
Position Summary :
Management and supervision of a team of professional and paraprofessional personnel accountable for providing direct patient care within the District of Columbia.
Position will coordinate patient services within the Agency, hospitals and the community to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
The Clinical Manager focuses on practice standards, appropriate utilization of services, and compliance with regulations and company policies.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for assuring appropriate matches between clients' needs and the skills and abilities of the clinical staff assigned to each case.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Education : BSN required - MSN Preferred
- Experience : Minimum 2 years acute care experience - Minimum 2 years home care or long-term care experience - Minimum of 2 years supervisory / management experience.
- DC State license required.
Additional Requirements :
- Extensive knowledge of Medicaid / Medicare guidelines.
- Extensive knowledge of Oasis protocol.
- Previous experience with and knowledge of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and / or Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) Accreditation.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with ICD 10 Coding.
- Knowledge of quality assurance protocols.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to appropriately prioritize work load. Benefits :
