Maintenance Supervisor

A growing food processing company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team dedicated to excellence, innovation, and safety.

The ideal candidate has a background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with at least two years of supervisory experience and an associate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), SAP, PLCs and basic computer skills.

• Supervising and mentoring maintenance employees, fostering teamwork, and upholding our core values of Teamwork, Accountability, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement.
• Championing safety as a core value, attending safety meetings, and ensuring regulatory compliance at all times.
• Creating work orders and implementing preventive maintenance programs to keep our equipment running smoothly.
• Installing new equipment and troubleshooting any issues that arise, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Creating a safe work environment for all employees, enforcing company policies consistently and fairly.
• Collaborating with other departments to maintain a coordinated workflow and address any operational or employee issues promptly.
• Encouraging employee feedback to drive improvements in production, quality, safety, and cost control.
• Keeping managers informed of any operational or employee issues that require attention.
• Scheduling crew overtime as needed and leading efforts to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical problems.
