The Key Training Center was established in Citrus County over 59years ago. The Key is recognized as one of the Premier Providers in the United States serving the intellectually developmentally disabled community, as well as one of the oldest Premier Providers in the State of Florida. The Residential Services Supervisor is the designated representative of the Director of Housing and Residential Services in maintaining a high standard of quality of life for participants of the residential program. Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the residential services system meet all regulatory standards and that the essence of these standards also results in a high quality of life in the physical, social, and emotional domains. Serves as advisor to the Director of Housing and Residential Services on all matters related to the welfare of participants, risk management, staff development, and quality assurance initiatives needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly responsible for the supervision of Resident Managers in their assigned locations; indirect supervision of all direct care staff in their respective areas.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited college or university preferred, OR an Associate's Degree in the Social or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited college or university. A minimum of four (4) years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals or a related environment. Supervisory experience in a developmental setting may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Florida driver's license with a safe driver rating.
