Med / Surg RN Job Details – Albany, OR

Location : Albany, Oregon 97321 (Oregon nursing jobs)

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 30 / 2025 – End : 1 / 29 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Medical Surgical Adult Unit

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 30), rotating weekends

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Employment Type : Travel RN assignment

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1820-$1950

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required at submission)

Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience

Proficiency with Epic EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Medical Surgical Nursing specialty certification preferred

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to acutely ill adults and post-surgical patients

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

Mentor and support nurse assistants and fellow RNs

Uphold high standards of patient safety, infection control, and advocacy
