What we're looking for :

Our Portland, Oregon office is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal to assist trial teams during trial preparation and proceedings.

We are searching for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and motivated for this on-site position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Assisting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation from initiation to trial.
• Drafting various legal documents such as pleadings, correspondence, and interrogatories.
• Managing client files, and calendars, and providing updates on case status.
• Conducting thorough legal research, including court rules and procedures.
• Collaborating on trial preparation, including organizing trial binders, coordinating with experts and opposing counsel, and liaising with court personnel.
• Willingness to travel extensively, potentially for 3-4 weeks at a time for trials.

Previous Experience Preferred :

• 2-4+ years of experience in asbestos law or in a trial setting as a paralegal.
• A paralegal certificate or degree is preferred but not required.
