American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU / SICU night shift position requiring EPIC EMR experience and a New York RN license.

Responsibilities

\n

  • Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (ICU / SICU)
  • Night shift schedule from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Uses EPIC EMR system, prior experience required
  • Care for critically ill neurology and surgical patients
  • No blocked scheduling permitted
  • Travelers may not reside in or be local to Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington Counties
  • Medical exemption required for flu vaccination if declining; personal / religious exemptions not accepted
  • No more than 3 call outs in a 13-week period; make up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
  • Request for time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application
  • Submission to only one position is allowed; travel pairs are not permitted

    Requirements

    \n

  • Active NYS RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU or SICU experience required
  • Current certifications from AHA or RQI (BLS, ACLS as applicable) required
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number required
  • Competency testing must be completed with 2 attempts to pass
