Job Title
Responsibilities :
Develop, update, and maintain annual operating and indirect rate budgets in coordination with functional and program leaders
Prepare multi-year financial forecasts incorporating revenue projections, labor utilization, and overhead trends
Develop both short and long-term financial forecasts and models to support strategic planning
Support indirect rate planning and submission to corporate and government oversight entities as required
Analyze monthly financial results versus budgets, forecasts, and prior periods; provide variance explanations and recommendations
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for both internal management and parent company consolidation
Maintain accurate and timely data to support quarterly SEC reporting cycles through coordination with the parent company
Monitor and forecast cash flow requirements, funding needs, and billing cycles to ensure liquidity
Analyze key drivers and identify trends, opportunities, assumptions, and risks to identify and analyze KPIs to support decision making
Support corporate and external audit requests, cost submissions, and indirect rate audits
Collaborate with program managers, operations, and functional leads to provide financial insights and decision support
Prepare recurring and on-demand financial reports and dashboards to support leadership
Work with leadership to understand financial needs, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with company objectives
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, program control, or related analytical roles
Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies
Experience supporting financial reporting in coordination with a publicly traded company
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication skills, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priories and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Candidates who have one or more of the following qualifications will be preferred :
Master's degree or MBA
Experience in government contracting, defense, or technology
Understanding of government contracting principles (FAR, DFARS, CAS) and indirect rate structures
Experience with Deltek CostPoint

The pay range for this position is $81,000 - $113,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.
