Overview
The Creative Director plays a key role in defining, executing, and elevating the creative vision for Velocity and its portfolio of premium automotive brands. This role oversees all visual storytelling across photography, video, design, and campaign creative, bringing the brand’s vehicles, products, and experiences to life through world-class content and storytelling.
As the head of the in-house creative team, the Creative Director leads designers, photographers, and videographers to produce work that reflects Velocity’s craftsmanship, innovation, and performance-driven spirit. They develop, execute, and oversee all brand campaigns, seasonal and holiday promotions, and product launch initiatives, ensuring every creative touchpoint aligns with the company’s premium identity and strategic goals.
The Creative Director collaborates closely with the VP of Marketing, Brand Marketing Managers, and Digital Marketing Director to set creative direction and ensure consistent brand expression across digital, social, video, and experiential channels.

Duties and Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team including designers, photographers, and videographers
- Set creative direction and uphold brand standards across all content and campaigns
- Conduct regular creative reviews and provide actionable feedback to elevate quality and alignment
- Manage workloads, timelines, and priorities to ensure on-time delivery of creative deliverables
- Use performance metrics and scorecards to evaluate team effectiveness and growth.
Campaign Development & Brand Execution
Develop, execute, and oversee all campaign creative, including product launches, seasonal promotions, and holiday initiativesTranslate marketing objectives into creative concepts that drive engagement and awarenessCollaborate with Brand Marketing Managers and the Digital Marketing Director to align creative execution with brand strategy and digital performance goalsDirect creative across all media formats, including photo, video, digital, print, and experientialBrand & Visual Identity
Maintain and evolve the visual identity for Velocity and its portfolio of brandsEnsure cohesive application of brand identity across all creative outputsPartner with Brand Marketing Managers to translate strategy into compelling visual storytellingOversee creative consistency across dealerships, retail partners, and collaborative campaigns.Production Oversight
Manage all photo and video production from concept through post-productionOversee internal and external resources, schedules, and deliverables to ensure brand standards are metSupervise creative execution for product shoots, lifestyle content, and brand campaigns.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with the VP of Marketing to align creative direction with business goalsCollaborate with Sales, Events, and Partnerships teams to support campaigns, activations, and experiencesWork closely with PR and communications to ensure storytelling consistency across earned and owned media.Innovation & Continues Improvement

Proven experience leading creative teams in design, photography, and videoStrong creative vision with exceptional storytelling and brand-building abilitiesExcellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skillsExpertise in brand identity, campaign concepting, and production executionDeep appreciation for automotive culture, craftsmanship, and luxury brandingProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design and production toolsAbility to manage multiple high-priority projects with precision and attention to detailExperience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership teamsEducation Background and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred10+ years of creative experience, including 5+ years in a leadership roleProven success developing and executing integrated campaigns for premium, lifestyle, or automotive brandsStrong portfolio showcasing excellence in creative direction, photo / video, and designPhysical Demands (To include but not limited to)
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation reviewing creative workOccasional standing or walking during photo and video shoots, events, or shop visitsOccasional travel for campaign production or brand activationsFrequent use of hands for typing, writing, and reviewing digital materialsAbility to lift and transport photo or video equipment up to 25 poundsExposure to varying temperatures and noise levels near production or shop areas (PPE may be required)Ability to safely operate a motor vehicleBenefits Include
