Job Title : Lab Technician I

Location : Waco, TX

Duration : 6 Months

Pay Rate : Up to $19.01 / hr

Shift : Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift (2 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM)

On-site : Yes (no remote option)

Job Overview :

The Lab Technician I will perform routine analytical testing in support of pharmaceutical product quality control. This is a fast-paced, on-site role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility for potential overtime.

Responsibilities :

Perform routine QC analytical testing on pharmaceutical products

Operate and maintain lab instrumentation (e.g., analytical balances, pH meters, spectrophotometers, total carbon analyzers)

Conduct basic data interpretation and input results into computer systems

Maintain lab records in compliance with GMP standards

Collaborate with team members and follow established protocols

Required :

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Associate’s degree with relevant experience

0–3 years of experience in a GMP laboratory setting

Basic laboratory instrumentation experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred :

Experience with HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry techniques

Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotech quality control testing

Familiarity with GMP standards and lab documentation

Effective problem-solving and communication skills

Computer proficiency in data entry and lab software
