About The Position

Job Title : Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist

Profession : Tech

Specialty : Medical Imaging - Radiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 Hour Days

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of Neuro IR experience required

License : ARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology preferred

Certifications : BLS, ARRT

Must-Have :

• Neuro IR experience
• ICU experience
• Knowledge of Neuro IR procedures
• Sterile technique / scrub technique
• Experience with Siemens machine
• Proficiency in EPIC

Description :

General Information :

2 Cath labs and 2 Hybrid peripheral / OR are available.

Will accept travelers with 1 year of experience but must have Neuro IR experience; IR only experience will not be accepted.

First-time travelers are welcome.

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles away from the facility.

Patient types will be discussed during an interview.

This traveler will be a member of the Stroke Team.

Patient Ratios :

RN : 1 : 1

Support on the Unit :

Charge nurse available M-F, 0600-1630.

No CNA or Phlebotomy support.

IV / VAT Team support is not applicable.

Charting Systems :

EPIC is required; Epic Cupid preferred.

Other systems in use include Alaris and Omnicell.

Scheduling :

Regular shift of 0700-1530 when not on call and 0730-1600 when on call.

Call schedule is one week on and two weeks off.

Weekend rotation and holiday expectations will be discussed during an interview.

Time off requests must go through the Manager.

Other Notes :

Scrub color is procedural and provided.
