Welder/Fabricator

Description :

• Prepares the chassis for truck body installation
• Installs the body onto the chassis
• Installs the bumpers onto the chassis
• Installs all wiring and electrical units in the chassis
• Installs accessories of aftermarket products
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Makes safety a priority

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

• Inside shop work environment
• Frequent use of hands
• Frequent use of drill motors, impacts, overhead cranes and forklift machine
• Standing for long periods
• Constant kneeling and squatting
• Constant lifting & carrying heavy objects
