A company is looking for a Charge Entry Specialist responsible for data input, verification, and correction in the medical billing process.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual charge entry and maintain rebilling of unbilled claims

Conduct research on missing reports and monitor internal systems for potential charge issues

Correct errors after posting and perform monthly charge verification research

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

At least one year of medical billing experience required

Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding

Familiarity with third-party billing and reimbursement processes
