Must-Have :

• BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification
• Must live within 30 minutes for STEMI call
• Must live over 100 miles from facility for travel assignment

Description :

The Cath Lab is on the cutting edge with new procedures and technology.

The role of the RN involves direct patient care, including conscious sedation and monitoring.

Documentation is done with a new hemodynamic system.

The working business hours are Monday to Friday from 0700 to 1730.

A day off during the week will rotate each week.

There is an expectation of 8 to 10 days of on-call duty per month.

The normal rotation includes one night a week and one in every three weeks on call.

Call shifts are Friday from 1730 to 0700 with 0700 to 0700 on Saturday and Sunday.

The call team consists of two RNs and one Radiologist Technologist.

Scrubs and lead aprons are provided for cases.

The teams are close-knit members who support each other.

There is a mix of Radiology Technologists and RNs in the department.
