Traveling Superintendent - Construction | Midwest (Chicago)

My client is a well-known, reputable General Contractor based out of the Northern Chicago Suburbs who performs work across the Midwest Region. They specialize in a variety of projects including commercial, retail, gas stations, restaurants, light industrial, financial banks and more. They are currently looking for an experienced, self-driven Superintendent to manage projects throughout the Midwest Region.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all phases of construction on-site, from groundbreaking to completion.
• Ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors
• Develop and manage construction schedules.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment delivery
• Inspect work to ensure it meets plans, codes, and standards
• Enforce OSHA and company safety regulations
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections
