Trade Operations Analyst
Insight Investment are currently looking for a Trade Operations Analyst to join the Active Management team, based in San Francisco.
The individual will provide support in the execution of trade settlement services within a Fixed Income Product group.
Role Responsibilities
- Accesses a variety of systems and communicates with associates, business partners, custodians, and clients for trade settlement purposes.
- Responsible for a variety of defined procedures and acts as an escalation point for issues with trade systems.
- Collaborates across internal teams (Portfolio Management and Accounting) to complete complex trade communications and settlement.
- Ensures trades are recorded properly and raises flags when breaks arise between trade desks and back offices.
- Responds to the most complex issues regarding trade settlement and guides associates in error resolution.
- Participates in process automation by proposing, implementing, and testing new solutions.
- Oversees automated and manual data upload for monthly market valuation of sub-portfolios.
- Must possess ability to identify and maintain data integrity.
- Handles complex internal and external trade settlement and market value data inquiries.
- Develops and maintains monthly settlement reports.
- Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
Experience Required
- BS / BA required.
- Relevant experience within Investment Management is preferred.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills, proven ability to multitask and prioritise.

Under California pay transparency law we are required to indicate the base salary range for this role of $70,000 to $80,000.
Any offer of employment will be made based upon the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate and the base salary offered could be higher or lower than indicated.
