As a Customer Service Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of equipment and providing exceptional support to clients.
Primary Duties : This position includes the following primary duties :
- Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on equipment, including :
- Static transfer switches
- Power distribution equipment
- Remote power panels
- Provide customer support while on site and via email and phone.
- Maintain timely and detailed service records in the system.
- Provide emergency response for critical incidents.
- Regularly scheduled time slots for 24 / 7 incident response.
Experience, Skills & Education :
- Service experience with electric power systems Required.
- Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills Required.
- Ability to read diagrams and schematics Required.
- Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC-based programs Required.
- Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge Required.
- Associate degree in electrical field Preferred.
- Electronics or electrical training from military service Preferred.
- Clean driving record Required.
- US Citizenship or C1 Permanent Resident Alien status - Required.
Work Location :
- Training to be conducted at Headquarters in Ohio.
- Field service work is performed at customer sites throughout the US and Canada. Travel is required.
- At times, weekend or possibly holiday work will be required.
