Position Details :

Job Title : Chaplain - Outpatient - Days
Facility : Samaritan Albany General Hospital
Location : Albany, OR 97321 (Coastal assignment)
Shift : Days (0800-1630) no weekends
Duration : 13 weeks – extendable
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hrs / week
Overtime : After 40 hrs / week

Pay Package :

Hourly Rate : $55 / hr

OT / Holiday Rate : $65 / hr

Estimated Weekly Gross : $2,200 (based on 40 hrs)

Job Description :

The Chaplain provides compassionate spiritual and emotional support to patients and families in hospice and hospital settings. Evergreen Hospice at Samaritan Health Services serves Linn, Benton, Marion, Polk, Lincoln, and Tillamook counties, providing care in homes, skilled nursing, assisted living, and adult foster facilities.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and pastoral experience)

Ordained, commissioned, licensed, or endorsed by a pastoral / spiritual community

Experience or training in pastoral / spiritual care (e.g., Clinical Pastoral Education, Stephen's Ministry, or equivalent)

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required

Master's degree preferred
