General Manager
InPower Solutions (a division of All Current Electric) is seeking a proven General Manager to lead our Houston operations and establish InPower as the premier provider of switchgear and motor control solutions. Reporting directly to CEO, the GM will focus on providing innovative switchgear, motor controls, and power distribution systems that drive operational excellence for our clients. This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a business unit from the ground up while leveraging your deep industry expertise and established relationships. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the switchgear and motor controls industry, combining technical acumen with exceptional business leadership skills to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and deliver unparalleled customer value.
Business Development & Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with key industrial clients, contractors, and OEMs
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities across all appropriate business sectors.
- Establish InPower Solutions as the go-to partner for electrical control & switchgear projects
Talent Management & Development
Develop comprehensive workforce planning strategies to support business growth and market expansionCreate and implement talent development programs, career progression paths, and succession planningFoster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional growthPartner with HR to ensure compliance with employment regulations and company policiesOperations Management

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related technical fieldMinimum 10+ years in switchgear and motor controls industry5+ years in leadership or business development rolesProven track record of building and growing electrical controls businessesDeep understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and control technologiesComprehensive knowledge of switchgear design, manufacturing, and applicationUnderstanding of industry standards (IEEE, NEMA, NEC, etc.)Demonstrated success in P&L management and business growthStrong team building and leadership capabilitiesExcellent project management and client relationship skillsStrategic thinking with ability to execute tactical plansAll Current is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
