About the Role :

Are you an engineer who thrives at the intersection of design innovation and manufacturing Rea is seeking a driven Equipment & Systems Design Engineer to lead the technical development of next-generation manufacturing systems for our core and electric vehicle (EV) magnet wire products.

In this pivotal role you will be the technical lead on projects from concept to completiondesigning prototypes developing full-scale production equipment and driving continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact the stability quality and reliability of products that are essential to the future of mobility.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Technical Projects : Spearhead equipment and manufacturing systems development projects from initial concept through to production implementation.
• Design & Prototyping : Create models and prototypes with a focus on stability repeatability and sustainability producing detailed 2D / 3D drawings and documentation.
• Research & Innovation : Conduct research on innovative equipment and systems to support new product and program development initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with R&D manufacturing and APQP teams to ensure seamless integration of new equipment and processes.
• Strategic Implementation : Support corporate initiatives and the Automotive Strategic Plan by turning engineering concepts into reliable scalable manufacturing reality.
