Facility :

This facility is a Commission on Cancer certified Cancer Center with a comprehensive radiation oncology department. The center shares space with Medical Oncology and Infusion Therapy on a hospital campus where CT, PET, and MRI services are readily available. As a Level 2 trauma center, the facility offers advanced treatment capabilities and multidisciplinary approaches to cancer care.

Opportunity : Certified - Radiation Oncology

Job Details :

• Locum tenens coverage needed for a busy two-physician Radiation Oncology practice
• Minimum of 15 clinic days per month required with flexible scheduling structure
• Daily caseload includes 10-15 clinic visits with an average of 25 patients on treatment
• Weekly chart rounds conducted with the Radiation Oncology team
• EPIC EHR system with ARIA / Eclipse for radiation treatment planning
• Supported by skilled Radiation Therapists, RNs, on-site dosimetry, and hybrid physics model
• On-site CT sim and access to other imaging modalities
• Multidisciplinary tumor boards every Thursday with welcome participation
• Required skills include Linear Accelerator experience (Rapid Arc / VMAT, Electrons), Conventional / Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and various treatment planning techniques

Compensation :
