The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves hands-on work with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, supporting both routine maintenance and facility improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to internal quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform repairs and overhauls on plant equipment including vibratory tumblers, high energy disks / barrels, and abrasive blasters.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and apply Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Review technical manuals and plant usage records to recommend and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
- Assist with facility improvement projects and equipment installations.
- Set up and run wiring, plumbing, and other utilities for new equipment as needed.
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related maintenance or technical role.Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and equipment.Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, and general facilities management.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical instructions.Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ANSI / ASME Y14.5).Proficient in using inspection tools such as micrometers, indicators, height gauges, and profilometers.Skilled in using common maintenance tools and equipment.Self-directed with the ability to plan workflow and prioritize tasks independently.Effective verbal communication skills.Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for sustained periods.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.Benefits
