Job Title : Concrete Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and hardworking Concrete Technician to join our team. This role will be focused on deck repairs on a large parking garage slab and connectors in Nashua, NH.
Tasks include joint sealant replacement, overhead soffit repairs, caulking, form building, rebar tying, hot applying epoxy, and controlled demolition using chipping guns and jackhammers.
This job is located in Manchester. If the selected individual demonstrates exceptional skill, there is potential for continuous work without downtime.
Hard Skills
- 1 year of outdoor construction experience in concrete with specific knowledge in caulking, patching or controlled demolition
- Must own a hard hat and steel-toe boots
- Must own hand tools including a 20 oz hammer, pliers, 25’ tape measure, 12 prybar, and speed square
- Masonry
- Concrete Carpentry
- Waterproofing
Soft Skills
- Dedication to safety and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Flexibility to work second shift or 4 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, if required
- Ability to work in hot summer weather
- Willingness to potentially work on weekends
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Environment
Our typical work schedule begins at 7 am. Each work day lasts for 8 hours or more from Monday to Friday with the potential for weekend work.
Safety is our top priority, so all team members are required to wear their PPE at all times. The work environment can be challenging as it often involves working in hot summer weather.
Some sites may require second shift work or 4 10-hour work days from Monday to Thursday.
