Job Description

  • Establishes, operates, and improves the quality management system
  • Integrates quality into all aspects of operations
  • Publishes and maintains the Quality Manual for the quality management system
  • Collects and analyzes objective quality evidence and generates required reports for system goals and continuous improvement
  • Oversees quality management system operations and manages the Internal Quality Audit Program
  • Handles correspondence with suppliers / vendors regarding quality assurance matters
  • Ensures personnel receive regular training in process control techniques and inspections
  • Conducts quality control checks, inspections, and final product inspections as needed
  • Ensures compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality management system requirements
  • Serves as the Management Representative for all AS9100 and ISO issues

The Successful Applicant

  • Microwave engineerinng degree or relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in industry drawing standards and Military Specifications
  • Evaluate customer specifications and statements of work
  • Collaborate with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
  • Define quality procedures in coordination with operating staff
  • Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures
  • Identify and address quality-related training needs
  • Analyze performance data against defined parameters
  • Ensure proper execution and evaluation of tests and procedures
  • Supervise technical staff in conducting tests and checks
  • Write technical and management systems reports
  • Coordinate with customers' auditors and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Establish service standards for customers
