Treasury Manager
The Treasury Manager is a key member of the Finance team responsible for managing the company's cash flow, investments, and banking relationships. This role will play a critical role in optimizing the company's liquidity, minimizing financial risk, and ensuring efficient and secure financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of treasury management principles, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor cash balances across all bank accounts and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and financial obligations.
Manage cash flow forecasting and prepare cash flow projections.Oversee the movement of funds between bank accounts, including domestic and international transfers.Manage bank relationships, including negotiating fees and terms, and resolving banking issues.Manage bank account access and ensure appropriate levels of authorization.Investments :Manage the company's investment portfolio, including working with and monitoring external investment advisors.
Ensure compliance with investment policies and guidelines.Monitor investment performance and make recommendations for portfolio adjustments.Foreign Exchange :Manage foreign exchange risk by implementing appropriate hedging strategies.
Monitor and analyze foreign exchange rates and their impact on the company's financial performance.Intercompany Transactions :Oversee and manage the flow of funds between subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate intercompany settlements.
Treasury Systems :Implement and maintain treasury management systems and tools.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of treasury data.Teamwork & Collaboration :Collaborate closely with the India-based accounting team to ensure efficient and accurate cash flow management. This requires meeting with India team, that maybe early in the morning or late in the evening.
Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Tax, Operations, and Legal, on treasury-related matters.Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or a related field.Strong understanding of treasury management principles, including cash flow forecasting, investment management, and foreign exchange risk management.Experience with treasury management systems (e.g., TMS) and other financial software.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience working with and coordinating with remote teams, particularly in India, is a plus.Highly organized with excellent attention to detailPerks and Benefits
