About the Role

Ramp is looking for an Accountant / Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will report to the Revenue Accounting Manager and work closely with other members of the finance team. This role will primarily be focused on product accounting, including revenue recognition, and related accounting balances. You will be a key member of the accounting close process, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. You will also play a significant role in the annual audit and help the finance, product and leadership teams understand financial results. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and can follow directions in a fast-paced environment by maintaining high quality and accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Act as a key player in the month-end close by maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly financials and ad hoc reports and presentations for management
• Assist in the annual audit process with external auditors and tax compliance process
• Assist in the creation of accounting policies, improved processes, and financial controls
• Assist in creating accounting desktop procedures for cross-training team members
• Collaborate with FP&A to monitor the budget and prepare the budget for actuals.
• Participate in other ad hoc projects, system integrations, and reporting requirements as needed
• Work closely with the team to ensure policies and procedures comply with professional standards and audit and regulatory requirements
• Support other team members across the organization based on their needs and your competence

What You'll Need

Nice to Haves

For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range is $70,000 - $130,000. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $65,000 - $115,000.
