About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural EIT / Structural Designer to join our established team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of substation structural components, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for utility and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures, foundations, and support systems in compliance with applicable codes (ASCE, ACI, AISC, IEEE, NESC).
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Review vendor shop drawings for conformance to construction documents.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, and protection & control engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct site visits for data collection, constructability reviews, and field engineering support.
• Support project management activities including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
• Progress into developing physical layout designs for high-voltage substations (69kV to 500kV), including equipment arrangement, bus configurations, and bill of materials.
