Job Description :
The Client Intake Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new clients seeking ABA services. This position involves coordinating the intake process, collecting necessary documentation, verifying insurance benefits, and assisting with authorization submissions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting families as they begin their journey with Behavioral Health Works.
Compensation and Benefits :

Responsibilities :
Client Intake Management :
Serve as the first point of contact for families seeking services.Gather and review intake documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Verify insurance coverage and benefits for ABA therapy.Schedule assessments and coordinate with clinical teams to initiate services.Authorizations Support :
Assist with obtaining and tracking insurance authorizations for services.Communicate with payors to ensure timely processing and approval.Maintain accurate and up-to-date authorization records.Client and Provider Communication :
Provide excellent customer service to clients and families throughout the intake process.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless transition from intake to service delivery.Compliance and Documentation :
Ensure all client files meet company and insurance compliance requirements.Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.Qualifications :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, psychology, or a related field preferred.Minimum 1 year of experience in client intake, insurance verification, or administrative support in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.Knowledge of insurance authorization processes (ABA experience a plus).Proficiency with CentralReach and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Drive) preferred.Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
