Now Hiring : Drafting Manager – Architectural Precast

📍 Stowe, PA | Full-Time | On-Site

Universal Concrete Products (UCP) is a leading manufacturer of custom architectural and structural precast concrete wall panels, proudly serving the Mid-Atlantic region since 1967.

We’re seeking a technically skilled Drafting Manager to lead our in-house drafting team. This is a key leadership role requiring deep experience in AutoCAD, and Revit, as well as a strong understanding of constructability, detailing standards, and prefabrication workflows.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

\tSupervise and mentor a team of drafters producing shop tickets, erection drawings, and coordination sets

\tOversee drafting schedules, allocate workloads, and coordinate with external drafting resources

\tReview and approve all drawing outputs to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance

\tProvide team training in AutoCAD and Revit, and maintain drafting standards and workflows

\tDrive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and documentation to support project succes

🧩 Required Qualifications

\tExpert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam

\tMinimum 2 years of leadership experience in a drafting or detailing role

\tStrong knowledge of construction documentation, fabrication requirements, and industry detailing standards

\tProven experience producing shop drawings for building components

\tBonus : Prior work in architectural precast concrete or similar structural systems
