Hybrid (Will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office.
Monday and Friday will be work from home days) Occasionally these days could change if they are needed in the office to assist or attend a meeting.)
Job description :
- Deliver high-value, quality operational and relationship support to Corporate / Commercial Banking relationship managers (RMs), portfolio managers (PMs) and external customers.
- Support revenue-generating activities in addition to driving operational and compliance support.
- Ensure there is a consistent level of data integrity for all systems utilized and identify and resolve exceptions quickly to minimize financial impacts.
- Proactively identify, research, and resolve customer issues while mitigating the future potential for other customers to have a similar occurrence.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of all applicable regulations to ensure compliance., credit policies and procedures.
Support the following activities :
- Credit Hard and Soft Exposure Approvals and loan onboarding and administration for agented and non-agented deals, bilateral loans, Letters of Credit, Soft $ Limits
- Monitoring activities and performing research to determine cause of overdrafts, daylight overdrafts and ACH file suspensions to ensure timely approval
- Covenant and financial credit monitoring; Marketing and presentation support with content, organization, and preparation of final deck;
Proposal preparation to gather customer data and research
- Prospecting projects to identify new leads by specific industries and geographic regions
- Certificate of Good Standing requests
- Order Flood Determinations
- Client data administration maintenance and reports;
- Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) search requests
- Act as liaison to operational areas.
Preferred skills / experience :
- strong knowledge of legal documentation used to support applicable loan processing;
- ability to work with legal to solve complex documentation needs, Ability to apply critical thinking to underwriting approvals, loan documentation and processes, ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production professional environment , strong organization and prioritization skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Coordinates the preparation of loan / lease packages in compliance with policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines and investor standards by gathering and reviewing necessary documents and information within designated time frames.
Communicates with staff, customers / clients, realtors, brokers, counsel, title companies, etc. to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain additional documents needed to complete the file.
Ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory and investor requirements and customer service standards. May coordinate the closing and funding of assigned loan packages;
calculating final closing costs and disbursing funds.
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Basic knowledge of legal documents used to support applicable loan / lease processing - Ability to work with legal to solve complex documentation needs
- Ability to apply critical thinking for all elements of loan documentation construction - Ability to master the banks documentation software
- Some knowledge of closing policies and procedures, funding policies, underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology and automated processing systems
- Some knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes for assigned product(s)
- Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production, professional environment
- Strong organization skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
