Job description

JOB SUMMARY :

  • The Headwear Trimmer is responsible for trimming excess thread and Pellon from the logo.
  • The Headwear Trimmer is the person that is responsible for ensuring excellent quality and meeting company production standards.

COMPENSATION :

  • The hourly pay range reflects the actual compensation that Ahead, LLC; the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of hire.

    • The final offer will be determined by a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. $15.50 - $16.50 per hour SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • None DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : Trim and remove excess threads and Pellon.
  • Attach hang tags and UPC stickers.
  • Ensure excellent quality.
  • Bagging and packing the final product.
  • Tie on threads.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

    • REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES :

  • Ability to read instructions in English.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess initiative, energy, and drive.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

    • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms.
  • Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills.
  • Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch.
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.

    • WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Exposure to moderate noise level.

    • VISION REQUIREMENT :

  • Close and distance vision.
  • Color vision.

    • PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT :

  • Closed toe footwear is required when entering the Production Floor.

    • SCHEDULE :

  • 3 : 30 pm – 12 : 00 am Monday – Friday with Overtime (during the week) as required.
