Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Participate in planning-level aviation assignments

Perform basic civil engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting

Assist in preparing specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projects - Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design team

Participate in bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information, preparing design clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and submittals

Attend site visits to assist in performing engineering services to include construction quality, acceptance testing and construction management activities

Attend and participate in design team and client meetings

Attend industry-level training and collaboration events

This position will be open for at least 3 days.

A passion for aviation

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills

Registered Engineer in Training (EIT)

Familiarity or experience with Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD / CAE)

United States Citizenship
